Michigan Based Camp Companies

Cheer MichiganThe best thing about CHEER! MICHIGAN is that our accomplishments have not ever come from just one person or just one source. No one could have ever built this wonderful 'company of substance' alone. CHEER! MICHIGAN and the success we have known for the past 19 years has been the direct result of the finest individuals I have ever known, coming together and working to raise the skill and leadership level of the kids and coaches who are involved in the cheer community.

We leave no stone unturned when it comes to researching new techniques or creating new components to our training programs. We initiated so many of the trends and program staples that you find in place for every cheer team in this state (and many other states, as well). We are constantly tapped into for our staff training ideas, camp scheduling, speaking capabilities and team building expertise.

The results realized by our efforts from working together have enriched our lives and hopefully yours, as well! We love our coaches and athletes (our treasured customers) and we look forward to many more years of providing you all with the latest and greatest ideas to help you succeed in the cheer world.

We are entering next summer and the big change facing Michigan cheer teams with a phenomenal new camp concept exclusive to C!M Summer Camps. We know it will teach, guide, energize and provide confidence to coaches and athletes alike and we cannot wait to share the details with you in the coming months!

Champion CheerleadingThere is nothing quite like it! No matter what our place in life or in athletics, we always strive for MORE and fortunately in cheerleading you can get MORE at Champion! We never settle for mediocrity in any of our programs and because of that you will always get only the best that any camp can offer. It's OK to want more, but it's up to you and your team to go after it, and you'll find MORE at CHAMPION! See you there!

Michigan SpiritMichigan Spirit offers customized cheerleading camps, clinics and choreography. We go above-and-beyond by providing personalized training based upon the needs of the individual teams. With our award-winning staff, we can provide training like no one else can! Tell us your skill level and where you want to go. Our experienced instructors will help you get there. We will design the training that is right for you. It is our philosophy that coaches can best serve their teams by providing a wide variety of experiences. We want to help!

Laura Breidenich
The former thirteen-year head coach at Marysville High School - the 2003 Class B State Champions - brings her cheerleading knowledge and expertise to LiB Cheer… Michigan's first cheerleading company specifically devoted to cheer choreography and now venturing into cheer training and All Star Teams. During her tenure at Marysville, Laura's teams found success in both the MHSAA Competitive Cheer and the MCCA Sideline Cheer formats. They finished "Top Three" at the Competitive Cheer state finals twice and were Regional Champions in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000. Along with the 2003 State Championship, Marysville earned Regional Champion titles in Sideline Cheer in 1997, 2002, 2003, and 2004.

Laura has judged at the national level, is a former MHSAA and Sideline official, a member of the Michigan Cheer Judges Association, and has a keen knowledge of "what judges look for". She is a member of the Competitive Cheer Coaches Association of Michigan, the Michigan Cheerleading Coaches Association, the United States All Star Federation, and is a nine-year summer camp director for Cheer! Michigan. She has been a speaker at C!M Coaches Camp, MCCA Fall Conference, MCCA Spring Conference and the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association Spring Conference. With a true passion for this amazing sport in all of its embodiments, Laura looks forward to serving Michigan cheer coaches - Competitive Cheer and Sideline - and their choreography needs.
She is also very excited to train cheerleaders for their school teams and on her All Star teams in LiB's new facility at the Blue Water Sports Complex.

National Based Camp Companies

Universal Cheerleaders Association

Curriculum
UCA’s curriculum is centered on game cheerleading and crowd leadership. We stress a “cheer with us” approach. Our material is built around the game beginning with pre-game pep rally ideas to fire up the fans and students, to actual game situations geared toward crowd participation and response. Leading the crowd is what we are all about! We also have NEW elective classes to help both sideline and competitive teams personalize their camps.
The UCA Staff
90% of our instructional staff is chosen through in-person tryouts based not only on skill level, but also on an interview process that stresses character, teamwork, leadership and empathy. We have staff from all
over Michigan that includes top MI college cheerleaders, National Champions, and MHSAA State Champions.
Safety
UCA is the leader and founder of the AACCA safety program, the recognized standard in cheerleading safety. Camp includes training on techniques for “hands-on spotting” at all stunt levels for coaches and participants.

Private Coaching
At UCA camp, you'll get one-on-one attention from instructors who will help create and personalize material based on your squad’s ability level.

Camp and Beyond
UCA provides judges for tryouts, spring and fall privates, and general practice help.
State Director
Elyse Packard is the new UCA state director for Michigan . She is a 5-year veteran of UCA and has been cheering for over 13 years at all levels.
